We have stayed in Movenpick Amserdam City Centre for 3 nights in 1st week of May. We loved it. Pros :- Rooms are spacious and good for 3 of us including 10 yr old kid. Frontdesk is helpful with information, concierge, check-in & check-out process. Great Location. It's very near to Amsterdam city centre train station. Wide spread of breakfast. You have lot of choices. View from room towards the river is great. Cons :- You have to cross the bridge to reach Station. If you have huge trolley bags, it's better to take a cab, since you need to cross over the bridge to train station. You can book Uber which may cost 10-12 Euros, based on time. City Tax is mandatory wherever you stay in Europe. However, Movenpick charges a bit on higher side, could be considering the services offered.

The Movenpick in The Hague is an excellent hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the best is extremely comfortable. Well equipped hotel gym and nicely located close to trams and stations and restaurants but just tucked away in a quiet corner. Really good restaurant and wine selection and chocolate hour is yummy The best thing with this hotel is the staff. They are professional, welcoming, engaging, knowledgeable and make the stay everything you want!!

Beautiful hotel. The staff was exceptional. Our waiter Mohit was very attentive and helpful in making our dining experience memorable. I would also like to acknowledge Guido who works at the front desk. He was very pleasant and hospitable.

We were in Amsterdam on the Kings birthday, so it was pretty wild. Despite the mayhem outside, we enjoyed a great sleep. The bed was a little lumpy and soft. The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We opted for the premium lounge and it was a nice, quiet place to hangout after a busy day. Snacks were minimal, as was the breakfast. We should have signed up for the breakfast buffet as it looked wonderful. There was a bit of an issue gaining access to the lounge one time. Fantastic central location, and we walked everywhere from the hotel to all the sights in Old Town. It was adjacent to the docks for the river cruise ships.

We just returned from a Viking cruise where we stayed at a Movenpick Hotel in Basel, Switzerland and a Movenpick Hotel in Amsterdam at the end of the cruise. Our friends and my husband and I enjoyed the hotel, amenities and location. We especially enjoyed our restaurant dinners in Amsterdam, as we were served on two nights by a very affable and efficient server by the name of Prince, originally from Ghana. Because of this, it capped off a memorable experience for us with our friends. Thank you.
